Press release from the issuing company

Ormond Beach, Fla. – The Book Manufacturers’ Institute (BMI), has launched a brand new podcast, The Manufacturer’s Library. The podcast is available for download on Apple, Google, PodBean and on the BMI website.

The podcast will feature member interviews, discussions with industry professionals, as well as audio from past BMI conferences and webinars. The most recent episode features a presentation from Dr. Naomi Baron of American University that was given during the BMI 2020 Spring Management Virtual Conference. The presentation, titled Saving the Camel’s Back: Books in the Age of Covid-19, discusses how the pandemic era has shifted the book industry.

“BMI is excited to provide another platform to share industry knowledge and reach those who may prefer to consume content in a way we haven’t done before,” said BMI Executive Director Matt Baehr.

New episodes will be released each week. Those interested in being a guest on the podcast can contact the BMI.
