Blitzprint Launches New Print-On-Demand Web Site

Press release from the issuing company

Calgary, AB: Blitzprint today launched Canada's first print on demand service geared toward producing books, manuals and reports for publishers, businesses, and other organizations. Working from electronic files submitted by email or on disk, Blitzprint produces profes-sionally printed and bound books in a fraction of the time and cost of traditional methods. "Anyone who wants to publish a few copies of a book can now do it without incurring the huge cost of a traditional offset print run," said Kevin Lanuke, President and CEO of Blitzprint. "This service has the potential to revolutionize the publishing industry, but it will also be used by other businesses, archives, libraries - anyone who needs a few copies of a book, professionally printed and bound," Lanuke said. Blitzprint is the first company in Canada to use the Xerox Digipath Book Factory to print and bind on demand. Starting with electronic files, or scanning from original hardcopy documents, Blitzprint manufactures books to professional standards in record time. Blitzprint users can log in to www.blitzprint.com from any web browser, create and man-age accounts, submit print orders, and upload and store files for immediate printing.
