Arroweye Adds 3rd HP Indigo 30000 Digital Press to Boost Customized Plastic Card Production

Press release from the issuing company

Arroweye, a leading US plastic card producer, has added a third HP Indigo 30000 Digital Press to its production fleet to expand its all-digital, on-demand technology platform for card marketers and issuers to deliver for 100% personalized products.

The new print power will support growth in Arroweye’s payment card business and enable expansion into new product offerings in vertical markets.

The new press was installed at Arroweye’s Henderson, Nevada site alongside an HP Indigo 30000 and HP Indigo 5900. Arroweye has a second site on the East Coast in Kentucky, where it also operates the HP Indigo 30000 Digital Press and HP Indigo 5900 press.

“The new HP Indigo 30000 enables us to further support our fully digital model, adding print capacity and flexibility to help us serve our clients even better now and into the future with zero waste,” said Peter Krauss, President & CEO. “This business model allows us fast completion of orders, whether the order is for one piece or many pieces. The color consistency of the HP Indigo press also enables us to deliver consistent results for every order placed, regardless of the timespan between orders.”

During the COVID-19 Health Crisis, Arroweye has continued to operate around the clock as an essential business, serving the needs of its diverse group of clients. “The reliability of the HP Indigo Presses has enabled us to continue to operate around the clock with little or no interruptions to best support our clients,” added Krauss.

Versatile printing capabilities
The HP Indigo 30000 is a 29-inch digital press deploying HP Indigo’s One-Shot technology where all color separations are transferred in a single pass on the substrate, for perfect color-to-color registration, including on heat-sensitive materials. The B2 press can print on a wide range of thick substrates including paperboard up to 24 pt (600 microns) and synthetic media up to 26 pt (660 microns), including PVC, PET and PP.

The high-performance data printing is driven by the HP Production Pro for Indigo Labels and Packaging Print Server including unlimited personalization and security printing with microtext and micro-barcodes for brand protection.

With millions of possibilities, Arroweye’s web-to-print portal, Card Studio, offers an easy-to-use, centralized card design engine where brands can order cards with logos and colors to create visuals to drive higher engagement and sales with highly targeted card campaigns.

Founded in 2000 as a digitally printed card business based on the HP Indigo s2000 industrial press, Arroweye expanded into plastic card printing and has grown its business with the B2 sized format delivering higher productivity.
