Intellus Receives ISO 27001 Certification

Press release from the issuing company

Montgomeryville, Pa. – Marketing services provider Intellus has received ICO 27001 certification by SGS North America, an independent and accredited certification body. ISO 27001 is an information security standard that was published in September 2013 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) under the joint ISO and IEC subcommittee, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27.

“We at Intellus consider this certification to be a prerequisite for any company wanting to be competitive. The digital world is under ever-tightening compliance regulations and constant cybersecurity risks,” explains Scott Patterson, Chief Compliance Officer at Intellus. “ICO 27001 compliance assures our clients in healthcare, finance and other data-sensitive industries that Intellus has the technology, processes and protocols in place to safeguard personally identifiable and business identifiable information.”
