SAP's Act Two: What is Syskoplan and Where Did It Come From?

On May 12, 2003, Syskoplan Consulting, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary and business unit of Syskoplan AG, announced the acquisition of assets from Unit Inc., a provider to the printing/packaging industry, and Steeb GmBh, a subsidiary of SAP and the developer of as//print, a solution for integrated handling of sales and production processes in the graphics industry.

WhatTheyThink, which had covered Unit Inc.'s launch of Print.IT and Pack.IT for the commercial printing/packaging industry, contacted Syskoplan Consulting for more details about the acquisition and the company's long-term strategies.
