We saw a continued trend toward paper focused production inkjet installs in October. We tracked 9 installations at 8 companies. One company makes up 3 of the device installations with 2 Ricoh Pro VC20000 mono and one color press installed. Of the buying companies, 3 are producing books, 2 Direct mail, 1 transaction print, 1 is a government in-plant operation and the final is printing on laminate. Not a single label or packaging focused install this month. 2 presses were sheet fed – B2 or larger and the remainder were roll fed.
