Printers Want to Compare Digital Options and Make Side-By-Side Comparisons                                                                          

New York - Printing Industries Alliance, the organization dedicated to supporting the success of the New York State, northern New Jersey, and northwestern Pennsylvania printers, today announced that "DIGITAL PRINTING THINK TANK II" will take place on Wednesday, April 19th at Club 101, located at 101 Park Avenue, NY, NY at 40th Street. 

Tim Freeman, President of the Printing Industries Alliance stated “The first Digital Printing Think Tank took place in October 2015. Since then we have had multiple evolutions at Drupa and again at Graph Expo. As digital printing becomes a quarter of all printing, printers want and need an update. They are requesting a format which allows them to make side-by-side comparisons and find out which press should be their next digital purchase”.

Freeman further commented “Marty Maloney, our Executive VP, will once again put our Digital Printing Think Tank together. Marty is considered a digital printing expert and had been heavily involved in it since its inception in 1993. Marty’s firm was the marketing agency of record for fifteen years for one of the industry’s leading digital press manufacturers”.

The format will include a panel of digital printing end users cutting across all industry segments as well as a panel of  the industry’s leading vendors. The audience of printers is predicted to exceed the 2015 attendance of well over a hundred. In- room vendor tables will ring the room and be available at lunch and at an end-of-day networking event.

Vendor Participation Sponsors will be limited and available on a first come basis. Presentation time slots will be assigned according to the vendor’s commitment date. Platinum Sponsors and participants of previous PIA events will have preference. Each Participation Sponsor will have a fifteen minute presentation slot, a spot on a panel, guest passes for personnel as well as customers and prospects and an in-room table-top display table. Sponsors will receive recognition through Event PR, literature and signage.

Registrations will cost a low fee of $109 and include continental breakfast, lunch, all day coffee and refreshments as well as the end-of-day networking event.

The event’s first panel will be a group of large and small printers that cut across the digital printing market. Moderator Mark Michelson, Editor of Printing Impressions will lead the printers in a discussion that will talk about their path to the present and their path for the years ahead .It is predicted that digital printing, which launched in 1993 and is currently more than 20% of all printing, will become 50% of all printing by 2030. Interactivity from the audience will be encouraged and a Q&A session will follow. Other panels will be made up of leading marketing executives from digital printing vendors as well as consultants. They will discuss how they provide press owners guidance in marketing digital printing and assistance in growing the market .Some very exciting keynoters will round out the day.  A combination of highly experienced speakers and actual printer experiences will provide printers with the information they need to navigate the very fast evolving and growing digital printing market.
