NAPL Small Business Segment Re-Launches Pyxis Network

Press release from the issuing company

East Rutherford, N.J. - Following a brief hiatus, NAPL has announced that it will re-launch the Pyxis Network with a meeting on Thursday, September 8th, 12:00 noon - 5:00 pm, at the Doubletree Hotel Magnificent Mile in Chicago.

The Pyxis Network, originally formed by PrintImage International (NAQP), has a long history of providing highly interactive facilitated learning opportunities, and serves as a venue for sharing best practices for printing company owners with over $2 million in sales.

Mitch Evans, Partner, Mitch Evans Consulting, and lead organizer and facilitator for this year's event, said that the revival of the Pyxis meeting is "the result of requests from the members who found it to be a vital source for information sharing and growing their businesses."

Continued Evans, "The Pyxis meeting is a place where members openly discuss their successes and lessons learned, and have the opportunity to hear from the industry's top consultants and expert practitioners about the latest in profitable and productive business practices."

Craig Dellinger, General Manager and Partner of New Haven Print & Copy, Fort Wayne, Ind., and member of the Board of Advisors for the NAPL small business segment, has been an active member of the Pyxis Group for many years. "Participating in the Pyxis Group has been very valuable to me. In addition to making friends with some great people, it has given me the opportunity to learn how they built their businesses, and see some great marketing ideas.  The idea sharing and problem solving during our sessions have been priceless. I'm looking forward to the re-launch of this meeting on September 8th."

Peter Gardner, President of Curry Printing, Westborough, Mass., and member of the Board of Advisors, echoed Dellinger's sentiments. "The Pyxis meeting allows me to stay current with the latest trends and practices, and to measure my company's growth, challenges, and successes by spending time with like-minded printing executives. We connect professionally and personally and work to build our businesses by sharing ideas, networking, and learning from each other."

Evans says, "Our goal for this event is to have active participants, speakers, and facilitators who openly and willingly contribute their ideas, solutions, and challenges for is critical to their growth and profitability, the good of their businesses and the industry. When that happens, we will undoubtedly have a successful meeting and a wonderful revival of the Pyxis Network."

The Pyxis Network Meeting will be held immediately prior to the opening of the Owners Conference at the Doubletree Hotel Magnificent Mile in Chicago. The meeting is open to all NAPL Members with more than $2 million in sales. The $150 registration fee includes all sessions, materials, and lunch.
