Banta Corporation Signs Co-Marketing Agreement With MarketTouch

Press release from the issuing company

MENASHA, WI, February 3, 2004 – Banta Corporation, a technology and market leader in printing and supply-chain management, today announced that it has signed a co-marketing agreement with MarketTouch, a provider of data and analytical solutions for the direct marketing industry.  The partnership allows MarketTouch to market Banta’s robust collection of multi-channel marketing tools, Sync Interactive Marketing Suite, while enabling Banta’s customers using Sync to seamlessly connect to MarketTouch’s robust database of lists and analytic solutions.     “Marrying Banta’s multi-channel marketing technologies with MarketTouch’s data and analytical solutions provides our customers with a turnkey solution that allows marketers to quickly segment and purchase precisely targeted lists for both print and email campaigns,” said Christian Hamer, general manager, Internet Solutions Group.  “This partnership empowers organizations by providing the tools necessary to optimally distribute their marketing messages while reducing production costs, increasing response rates, improving time-to-market and protecting brand integrity and continuity.” After a document or email has been created and personalized using Sync, users are now able to connect directly to MarketTouch’s database of both business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing data.  Through an easy-to-use interface, users can then refine a highly targeted list using extensive selection criteria.  Once the list is created and attached to the marketing material, users can purchase the total solution with a single transaction.  In addition, users purchasing lists from MarketTouch’s database may increase their target marketing precision using the organization’s custom modeling service, QuickTurn Analytics.  QuickTurn is a complete proprietary solution that rapidly develops high quality, stable and predictive statistical models for use by marketers.  The sophisticated analytics increase an organization’s profitability by dramatically improving the efficiencies of the data mining process, collapsing the model development process to a fraction of its usual time while adding precision and stability to results. “Banta has a long and successful track record of using technology to add value to the print production process,” said James C. Dekle, president of MarketTouch.  “Together, Banta and MarketTouch are providing marketers with everything they need to create, proof and order marketing materials; from data, design and copy capabilities to quality printing to ensure the highest return on investment.”
