Family-owned online printing pioneer adds state-of-the-art equipment at both U.S. locations to meet growing demand for books, booklets, and short-run printing.
Hudson, Wis. - DocuCopies.com, one of the nation's longest-running online printing services, today announced the addition of four Konica Minolta C14010 digital color presses — two at its California facility and two at its Wisconsin facility. The investment significantly expands the company's production speed and capacity for books, booklets, and a wide range of other custom print products.
The new presses operate at 140 pages per minute, a 40% increase over the company's previous equipment. Each press is paired with an automated booklet maker and a punch-finishing module, allowing documents to be printed, folded, stapled, and punched for binding in a single continuous process. The automation reduces production time and handling compared to older multi-step workflows.
"This investment reflects our commitment to giving customers the fastest possible turnaround without sacrificing quality," said Jeff Corbo, president at DocuCopies.com. "Whether someone needs 25 copies of a training manual or 500 copies of a self-published book, these new presses let us deliver faster and more efficiently than ever."
Their partnership with Konica Minolta spans over 20 years, dating back to their early days as an online printing company. This longstanding relationship has been crucial in helping DocuCopies.com grow their business from a local print shop to a national brand.
Founded as a family-owned, brick-and-mortar print shop in 1982, DocuCopies.com launched its website in 2003, making it one of the first companies to offer online print ordering. More than two decades later, it remains independently owned and operated.
With production facilities in California and Wisconsin, DocuCopies.com is able to ship orders to customers throughout the continental United States within 1–3 business days.
The company counts self-publishers, small businesses, schools, and nonprofit organizations among their core customer base. Their product lineup includes saddle stitch booklets, perfect bound books, spiral bound books, posters, flyers, mailers, and more.
