Press release from the issuing company

Esko will showcase how its software has been developed to specifically drive efficiency in packaging production while offering businesses even more control on the road towards a sustainable future at this month’s Dscoop Edge Indy expo.

From 24-27 March, visitors to Dscoop - held this year in the famously motorsport-centric city of Indianapolis – will have the chance to see how the range of Esko prepress solutions is supercharging the go-to-market process for brands and packaging converters around the world.

Ahead of the event, Matthew Haws, Chief Marketing Officer with Esko, said the industry is having to fundamentally change how it operates in order to meet the dual demands of sustainability and digitalization. “Our latest software release is again delivering on our promise of developing new technology that enables customers to boost efficiency, reduce costs, minimize the risk of errors and improve their overall productivity,” he said. “We are excited to be a part of Dscoop Edge Indy this year and to showcase how our innovative and advanced solutions both empower businesses to overcome the challenges they face today, while also preparing them for those they will face further down the track.”

Matt said Esko, the global provider of integrated software and hardware solutions that accelerate the go-to-market process of packaged products, will use Dscoop to underline its dedication to bringing to market innovative new ways for customers to unlock tangible value in their businesses. “We are excited to demonstrate how our latest solutions achieve this through improved ways of working, eradicating waste and optimizing operational processes to meet the demands they face in today’s market,” he said. “This is an opportunity to discover how Esko innovations are helping make the packaging design and development process more connected and seamless than ever.”

From its booth (#1096) Esko will provide a look under the hood at some of the latest tools and additional functions in its software suite, including:

• Safe plate output in Automation Engine allowing for faster quality control, and new labels and warnings for classic workflow tasks
• Even stronger Automation Engine integration with Share & Approve, the cloud native service that enables users to seamlessly connect their prepress to customers and stakeholders from their artwork editor applications
• Greater efficiency with Cape Pack pallet optimization for folding cartons, and easy sharing with Share & Approve
• New tools in ArtiosCAD to automatically recognize copy-free areas of designs when folded in 3D, and predefined folders to promote consistency and reduce errors
• Further improvements to prepress task automation in ArtPro+, making processing faster, simpler and safer, plus additional new features such as including non-active fonts when recognizing text

“We are continually developing new functions and features as our software evolves, underlining our commitment to developing products that help accelerate the process of bringing perfectly packaged goods to market,” said Matthew. “We look forward to being a part of Dscoop Edge Indy and showing how we are empowering businesses to connect systems and workflows, automate processes, and accelerate innovation.”
