iPrint Expands Partnership with OfficeMax.com

Press release from the issuing company

MENLO PARK, CA - iPrint (NASDAQ: IPRT), the leading online print shop and print infrastructure provider located at http://www.iPrint.com, today announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with OfficeMax.com (http://www.OfficeMax.com), the e-Commerce business unit of OfficeMax, Inc. (NYSE: OMX). This agreement extends an existing two-year partnership and allows for the seamless integration of iPrint's expanded online print shop technology and hosting services into OfficeMax.com. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The expanded relationship centers on iPrint's XML CommerceConnectÅ, the first e-printing XML-based integration technology to connect separate commerce Web sites into a seamlessly integrated shopping experience. iPrint's technology will allow OfficeMax customers to purchase or reorder business printing directly through the OfficeMax site without going through any intermediary electronic shopping cart, which until now was the only alternative in the e-printing industry. iPrint is the only e-printing company to offer this application program interface (API) shopping technology. "OfficeMax.com has been hitting a home run since launching," said Royal P. Farros, Chairman and CEO of iPrint. "We're pleased that our XML CommerceConnect technology is making the customer experience even better. Whether it's business cards, brochures, or bookcases, OfficeMax.com customers can now order everything in a single, simple transaction. We believe this can become the de facto API for online printing." iPrint technology currently powers CopyMax (http://www.CopyMax.com), a private-labeled Web site which can be accessed directly or from http://www.OfficeMax.com. Visitors to the CopyMax online print shop can create a wide array of business and stationery products, gifts and apparel, promotional items, signs and banners, and more, in just a few easy steps. "iPrint's XML CommerceConnect is really something new and special in the e-printing world," said Ryan Vero, President of OfficeMax.com/Direct. "iPrint not only expands the breadth of our product offerings, it lets our customers enjoy true one-stop shopping. That's a very powerful shopping experience. We're very excited about this partnership."
