W+D Halm i-Jet envelope overprint press  awarded a Print 17  Must See’em

Press release from the issuing company

W+D Halm i-Jet - The world’s fastest 4+ color envelope overprint press powered by memjet inkjet technology has just  been awarded a Must See’em by the PRINT17 technical judging committee based on the award criteria of  innovation, ease of use, throughput and competitive advantage.

W+D will be running a Halm i-Jet, which was purchased by Victor Envelope of  Bensenville, Il.,  daily at the Print17 show in Chicago and will be demonstrating its exceptional 1600 x 1375 dpi print quality at 32,000 envelopes per /hr. on a #10 envelope as well as its simple but powerful Xitron Navigator RIP and CMYK to Pantone color matching system workflow.

W+D will also be overprinting on USPS approved shape envelopes and embossed papers to show the wide versatility of this high-speed inkjet over printer for not only the short run corner-cut envelope market but for many new direct mail applications. W+D will demonstrate the eye popping inkjet color using a standard 24lb. white wove paper from Domtar.

Victor Envelope will take delivery of their new W+D Halm i-Jet following the Print 17 show.
