Landa Names Imagine! as North American Beta Site for S10 Nanographic Printing Press

Press release from the issuing company

Leading provider of in-store marketing solutions chooses Landa to migrate high quality point-of-sale and signage business from offset to digital

Dusseldorf, Germany – Imagine!, North America’s leading provider of large-scale point-of-sale displays and instore signage, will be a beta site for the Landa S10 Nanographic Printing® Press, Landa’s single-sided B1 (41 in. / 1,050 mm) press for folding carton and POP/POS (point-of-sale/point-of-purchase) applications.

The Landa press will be installed at Imagine!’s facility in Minneapolis, MN and will be predominantly used for POP/POS display work in order to take full advantage of the press’ format size, ultra-fast speed and very-high print quality. The Landa S10 press will eliminate setup waste and be used to create versioned stacks of printed product that will dramatically reduce the high costs associated with fulfillment services.

“We bought this press because of Benny Landa’s track record for developing innovative, industry-changing technology,” says Craig Mandery, Chief Business Officer at Imagine!. “We do not usually chase  technology trends, however we believe in Nanography® and want to be instrumental in the digital-for-mainstream revolution. Nanography is the first digital printing solution with the format sizes and speeds that will let us migrate our applications away from offset. The reduced setup costs and improved turnaround times will bring substantial growth to our business.”

Benny Landa, Chairman of the Landa Group, says, “Imagine! has an amazing reputation for never saying “no” to its customers, whom it regards as partners. We are proud to have such a company as our partner in bringing Nanography to the POP/POS and in-store signage markets. Imagine! is a creative and innovative pioneer of in-store marketing solutions and we are delighted to play our part in helping to transition its business from offset to digital.”
