Tukaiz Hires James Eby as Chief Creative Officer to Lead agenz

Award-winning creative director to head new in-house boutique agency 

Franklin Park, IL - Tukaiz, a leading marketing services production company, has hired James Eby in the position of chief creative officer to lead its newly-established agenz, the company’s boutique agency operating within Tukaiz, to provide clients creative and design leadership for both traditional and digital media.

Eby was selected to lead this innovative division due to his strong background in creating integrated marketing campaigns and recognized history of developing creative strategy from ideation through digital and traditional production processes. He has nearly 25 years of experience creating award-winning advertising design, digital programming, retail merchandising, promotions, online games, events and mobile programs. 

“Jim has directed many creative and marketing initiatives for impressive clients including: Coors, Xbox, Burger King, Budweiser, Nestlé Brands, Craftsman, Taco Bell, Diners Club, Kraft, Microsoft, Sears, Hostess, Sony, CPK, AARP, Applebee’s and Outback Steakhouse,” said Dan Defino, vice president and managing director for Tukaiz. “His work history and strong reputation in the industry for innovative creative direction deliver attention-getting results that make him the perfect choice for this new position in our company. We look forward to sharing his expertise with our customers.” Eby joined Tukaiz after 18 years at Wunderman in Chicago where held the position of SVP, executive creative director.

Over the past 10 years, Eby has been on the judging board for the POPAI (Point Of Purchase Advertising Institute) Outstanding Merchandising Awards. He also created the position for “Creative Best of Show” in 2008. He’s been featured in several publications including representing Wunderman Chicago’s achievements with Burger King in POP Times.
