OKI Data Proprietary MPS at Tigerpaw

Press release from the issuing company

OKI Data Americas announces its participation and gold sponsorship of the 2012 Tigerpaw National Conference, taking place September 26-28, 2012 at the Hyatt McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. There, OKI Data will demonstrate its cloud-based managed print service (MPS) offering – Total Managed Print – in booth 18 among other industry leaders as part of the event's technology showcase. A breakout session entitled "MSP Guide to Managed Print" and led by OKI Data's Chris DiReda will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. and Friday, September 28, 2012 from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. CDT in room 102A.

OKI Data will present the features and functionality of its Total Managed Print (TMP) solution – a modular offering that can be leveraged turnkey as a complete MPS business model, or individually at the component level, to augment an existing business model. The solution, consisting of nine customizable modules, enables businesses to reduce overall expenditures while improving efficiencies and employee productivity, removing the burden of print ownership by providing a cloud-based, brand and device agnostic print fleet management tool. The solution helps businesses realize immediate and long-term savings by generating new and recurring revenue streams while helping customers save money and optimize their print environments.

The breakout session, dedicated to Managed Service Providers (MSPs), will focus on incremental opportunities for expanding the management of their customers' IT environments by including managed document output within an organization, enabling MSPs to realize incremental revenue and longer-term customer retention. The session will illustrate how adding print to a business' IT solutions mix allows the company to generate more income from existing customers while attracting new customers. In addition, OKI Data will demonstrate how becoming a total solution provider will enable MSPs to prevent increased competition as a result of converging channel trends in the industry.

"OKI Data is pleased to be a gold sponsor of the Tigerpaw National Conference and share best practices and industry trends with attendees both within our booth and at our breakout sessions," said Chris DiReda, National Director for Managed Print Services at OKI Data Americas. "We look forward to discussing the benefits of managed print and how our Total Managed Print solution helps customers get started in 30 days without increased overhead or infrastructure and minimal out of pocket investment."

The 2012 Tigerpaw National Conference brings together hundreds of peers, organizations and partners within the Tigerpaw community to share emerging trends and best practices for professional and personal growth. The educational event offers a technology exposition, plus a full agenda of breakout sessions led by leaders within the industry, providing attendees with the opportunity to learn how to strengthen their businesses through revenue-generating products and services.
