DAYTON, Ohio & CHARLOTTE, N.C.--July 31, 2002-- Standard Register received an award for outstanding achievement in "Customized/Variable Data Digital Color" in the 2002 Premier Print Awards, the graphic arts industry's largest and most prestigious worldwide printing competition hosted by the Printing Industries of America (PIA), Incorporated, Alexandria, Virginia.
PIA is the world's largest graphic arts association.
Competing against more than 4,800 entries from printing and graphic arts firms from around the world, Standard Register received a Certificate of Merit for its Design On Demand solution, an Internet-based variable design and printing solution.
Standard Register's Fulfillment Services operation in Monroe, N.C., is among the key Standard Register operations producingpersonalized customer communications using this unique Design On Demand technology combined with state-of-the-art digital color printing capabilities.
