The releases are the latest additions to StaffingTools growing library of prepress and graphics testing and training. Photoshop Basics is designed for first time and novice users of Photoshop. The course guides a user through the basics of the Photoshop while covering the skills required to perform scanning and color correction, use effects and filters, and alter images. It is designed to act as a stepping stone to other intermediate and advanced level Photoshop courses in the StaffingTools course library. "The current digital prepress environment requires skilled employees that need on-going training and the StaffingTools library is continually growing to meet these needs for graphics and prepress professionals," said Julie Jankowski, Director of Corporate Sales. "Photoshop Basics is an essential course for those moving from traditional to digital prepress and those just getting started using the software program." In addition to the Photoshop Basics course, StaffingTools has released six new tests. The tests cover Scanning and Color Correction in Photoshop for MAC and PC, Preparing Web Graphics in Adobe Photoshop for Mac and PC, and Microsoft Publisher 2000. Additional courses for software upgrades are currently in development and will be released this fall. These include What's New in QuarkXPress 5.0, Photoshop 7, InDesign 2 and Illustrator 10.
