Established in 1999, the Supplier of the Year award annually recognizes the company that best demonstrates consistent and outstanding service, products and/or support to the quick and small commercial print industry. To merit consideration for this award, a company must be a current supplier member of PrintImage International. PrintSmith, a division of Printcafe Software, is the maker of the popular PrintSmith print shop management software and PrintSmith Site, its e-commerce solution companion. "Whether through estimating software or e-commerce solutions, PrintSmith continually meets the current and evolving demands of today's printer by providing the tools necessary to maintain and grow a business. Our members have rewarded PrintSmith's forward-thinking and continued dedication to the industry with this esteemed award," said Steve Johnson, PrintImage International president and CEO. Other well-respected industry suppliers nominated for the prestigious award, General Binding Corporation (GBC) and Coastal Business Supplies, proved to be formidable competitors. Previous recipients of this award include Printer's Plan by SoftUSE, Heidelberg USA, Discount Labels and Xerox. Formed in 1975 as NAQP, PrintImage International provides services to more than 1600 quick printing, copying, and small commercial printing members, located in the United States, Canada and several foreign countries.
