Press release from the issuing company
Bloomington, IN – May 16, 2002 – The graphic arts e-learning portal, StaffingTools.com, and Graphic Computer Solutions, a provider of hardware and software solutions for the graphic design industries, announce a partnership to offer online prepress and graphic software courses through the Graphic Solutions Online University. Graphic Computer Solutions’ customers include graphic design firms, advertising agencies, printers, publishers, pre-press, and newspapers.
"We at Graphic Computer Solutions are very excited to be able to offer this incredible solution to our customers. We frequently get requests for training and this is the first solution that allows our customers to learn at the level and pace each user needs. Add the flexibility of the training being available 24/7, and you have a training system that can’t be beat," says Scott Klauminzer, Chief Technical Solutionist.
Graphic Computer Solutions will offer online courses in addition to their in-house training solutions. The Graphic Solutions Online University powered by StaffingTools.com allows companies to test and train their employees online from any computer with an Internet connection 24/7, while reducing travel costs and downtime related to off-site and classroom-based training. StaffingTools’ Learning Management System (LMS) allows management to track employee learning with ease and supplies a tool for measuring and evaluating employee performance. The online training provides students with knowledge specific to print processes and is broken up into small modules so employees can take tests and training during downtime.
" StaffingTools.com’s online training greatly reduces the time required for employee education, while delivering greatly enhanced results," says Frank Elge, Business Development Manager. "StaffingTools is extremely pleased to partner with Graphic Computer Solutions to offer our e-learning solution to their client base."
