GASC Announces Xerox to Sponsor Executive Outlook Conference
Press release from the issuing company
June 18, 2002 -- Reston, VA – The Graphic Arts Show Company announced today that XEROX Corporation, the Document Company will be the official sponsor of the upcoming EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference, held October 5, 2002 in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO, October 6-9, 2002 at McCormick Place South in Chicago, Illinois.
"We’re very pleased and proud to have XEROX as the sponsor of EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK again this year. Their participation and support of this event and of the industry in general has been outstanding, and we’re pleased to continue our successful relationship with them," said Regis J. Delmontagne, president of Graphic Arts Show Company.
EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference is the traditional "day-before-the-show" conference for printing and converting leadership, providing graphic communications managers and senior executives a glimpse into the coming trends and economic forces driving the growth of the printing and converting industry. This year’s conference theme, "Emerging Technologies and Shifting Markets – Turning Threats Into Opportunities," reflects the range of economic factors that have affected the industry in 2002.
"The industry is constantly evolving and changing, and this year that change has been accelerated by outside economic forces and technological advancements working together. This conference will provide attendees with ways to understand and incorporate what that means for their business into their growth plans," noted Conference Chairman William C. Lamparter, president of the PrintCom Consulting Group.
Xerox will be creating a strong presence at the show as one of the largest exhibitors with a showing of a diverse array of digital hardware and software, conducting news conferences and events designed for the commercial printer. Xerox at GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO will demonstrate how the commercial printer can profit through the digital production of short run and personalized print products.
In addition to the other conference topics, EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK is the launching pad for the MUST SEE ‘EMS program, a prestigious awards program highlighting the top new products and concepts on display on the show floor at GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO. Selected by a blue-ribbon panel of industry observers, pundits, consultants and non-vendor participants, MUST SEE ‘EMS are those products, services and ideas on display that attendees should not miss to get a full understanding of the new direction of the industry. Participating companies’ products must be nominated to the MUST SEE ‘EMS program, where the distinguished panel reviews each nomination in depth before deciding upon the select group of winners.
Additional details about these and other aspects of the upcoming show are available at www.graphexpo.com. Updated information will be posted frequently in the months leading up to the show.
