June 12, 2002 -- Oak Creek, Wisconsin: Northwest Coatings is pleased to announce significant performance improvements to water base matte topcoats designed for the printing, packaging and converting markets. Extensive research and development has resulted in a new line of water base matte topcoats for narrow web flexo, sheetfed and web applications. These new products are easy to process and offer very low gloss levels with improved non-streaking and non-burnishing characteristics. Products can be custom designed depending on viscosity and substrate requirements. Northwest Coatings manufactures UV/EB curable and water base coatings and adhesives for the printing and converting markets, as well as other industrial applications.
