Dr. Denkhaus succeeds Stephan Plenz as manager of the Heidelberg Postpress segment

Dr. Friedrich Denkhaus (48), currently manager of the Amstetten site, is to become the new manager of the Postpress segment of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) with effect from February 1, 2005. The current manager of the Postpress segment, Stephan Plenz (39), is to take over the role of Assembly and Logistics Manager of the Heidelberg Sheetfed segment at the Wiesloch factory as of February 1, 2005. Stephan Plenz has been working for the company since 1986. Following a number of management positions in the Sheefed segment at the Wiesloch factory, he has been working in various management roles in the Postpress segment since 2001. Stephan Plenz is married with three children. Dr. Denkhaus joined Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in 1991 after completing his doctorate in engineering and working at Daimler-Benz. Following several management positions at the Wiesloch factory, he has been manager of the Amstetten site since 1999. Dr. Denkhaus is married with two children. The Postpress segment has sites in Ludwigsburg, Leipzig and Mönchengladbach in Germany, Nové Mesto, Slovak Republic, Padua, Italy, Eksjö, Sweden and a branch in Sidney, Ohio, USA. In fiscal year 2003/2004, it achieved sales of around Euro 360 million with a workforce of some 1,400. This represents around 12 % of the total sales of the Heidelberg Group (Euro 3.114 billion, covering the press, postpress and financial services sectors).
