GSA Agreement Provides Federal Agencies with Secure Mail and Document Management Services
STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 23 -- Pitney Bowes Inc. today announced that it has signed an agreement with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) that will make a broad array of enhanced mail and document management services available to federal agencies. By combining state of the art technology, personnel and propriety Standards and Best Practices, Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS) will enable government agencies to better serve the public by offering solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness, while helping them engineer the flow of their communications.
PBMS is the one of the few service providers offered through the GSA that offers federal agencies customized end-to-end secure mail services/solutions. Customized options include high-level on-site or off-site screening of suspicious packages and packages and parcels requiring signatures, and testing for dangerous contents or Anthrax.
"No other service provider leverages both state-of-the-art document and reprographic solutions with advanced mail solutions found in our core business," stated Karen Garrison, president, Pitney Bowes Management Services. "The ability of PBMS to work across an entire enterprise, and its breadth of offering distinguishes us among our competition. When combined with best in class service, Pitney Bowes is the industry leader in secure mail services."
The PBMS portfolio of solutions also includes Document Conversion Services which is a paper-to-digital image capture solution. Documents that are imaged can then be combined with other services for electronic delivery or archiving. PBMS also offers customized Reprographic Services that will combine an array of equipment from manufacturers with PBMS processes and practices to create a solution that is tailored to meet the needs of an organization.
The GSA helps federal agencies better serve the public by offering, at best value, superior workplaces, expert solutions, acquisition services and management policies.
