Hauser Printing to stitch with a new Presto from Muller Martini

Press release from the issuing company

Harahan, Louisiana — Hauser Printing Company, Inc., a full-service commercial facility serving the New Orleans metropolitan area, is installing a new Presto saddle stitching system from Muller Martini. Established in 1898, Hauser Printing produces an extensive menu of products, ranging from brochures and newsletters to magazines and fine art prints. In addition to its saddle stitching capabilities, Hauser’s bindery produces spiral and perfect bound books as well as pocket folders. The company’s new Presto will equip Hauser to manufacture saddle stitched books at the rate of 9,000 cycles per hour. The system can handle signatures with high or low folio laps or with no laps at all. Its PLC controls and handwheel adjustable components speed makeready and simplify operation.
