September 30, 2002 -- At Graph Expo and Converting Expo 2002, IBM Printing Systems will be demonstrating live production of high-quality, 3-up printed books on its Infoprint 4100, using Infoprint Manager and state-of-the-art Stralfors LX Unwinder and Cutter/Trimmer/Stacker Pre/Post Processing equipment. IBM will be located at Booth 3471, which will be set up in three zones: Powerful Hardware, Powerful Software, Powerful Solutions.
IBM's newest production cutsheet innovation, the Infoprint 2105, a high-speed, feature-rich printer with full function convenience copier, will be on display in the Powerful Hardware zone. Visitors to the Powerful Software and Powerful Solutions zones can also learn more about IBM's popular workflow and print management solutions, including Infoprint Manager, Infoprint Workflow, PDF Workflow and Infoprint Viewer, many of which are used today by leading commercial printers such as Michael Bender and Gilmore.
IBM product specialists will be on hand throughout the booth to discuss the newest equipment and software from IBM, and to share tips and insights on improving workflow, print quality and job turnaround times.
Also at the show, IBM and CAP Ventures will be jointly hosting an exclusive breakfast event for media and customers at 7:30am on October 7 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Regency Ballroom C.
