Jonergin Pacific Goes Live on CRCs Accounting Software in 5 Days

Press release from the issuing company

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (October 3, 2002)–CRC Information Systems, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to announce that Napa, California-based label printer Jonergin Pacific completed a full conversion to THE System’s accounting package in just one week. “We’re a 30-man operation with limited human resources to spend on implementation,” stated Jonergin Pacific’s Controller, Rich Neumann. “My background in finance has included 15 major system conversions, and my expectations were low considering the circumstances surrounding this implementation. Some of our key people were out of the office, a new press was being delivered, and our installation homework wasn’t done.” CRC trainers design implementation plans containing precise installation targets and completion dates for each client. “Each step was very focused, and that is the reason why Jonergin was able to go ‘live’ as quickly as they did,” remarked CRC’s General Manager of Training, Jeff Peck. Neumann said, “Literally, I was finishing our chart of accounts when Jeff (Peck) walked in the door. He could have easily walked back out the door, but instead he took control of the situation by realizing each individual’s strengths and delegated responsibility accordingly.” Essentially, by reducing the time and costs associated with implementation, Jonergin will be able to maximize the return on their investment over a shorter period of time. “Within 5 days we were ‘live’ on THE System’s accounting software from entering purchase orders to invoicing. Most importantly, Jeff maintained a sense of humor and professionalism that was unparalleled. The training was phenomenal; this implementation would not have been possible with any other system or with any other person, ” remarked Neumann. CRC’s detailed implementation plan demonstrates a total commitment to clients that extends beyond the sale to provide the highest level of support in the industry. “Training stayed very focused on each module, and many times those that were associated with a specific program participated in understanding the connection between where someone ends and where they start their work. For example, those handling the purchase order stage were watched by those handling shipping and accounts payable. Each team watched what the other did and then learned how to apply the information to help one another,” said Peck. “Jonergin had a commitment and a clear objective, and that is why the training went as well as it did.” Jonergin Pacific specializes in the production of high-quality wine labels for clients such as E & J Gallo Winery, Robert Mondavi, Beringer Blass Wine Estates, and Buena Vista Winery. They are one of the fastest growing label printers in the United States, and utilizing state-of-the-art Sanjo presses they consistently provide their customers with superior quality and service.
