MILWAUKEE – Visual Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of book components, overhead transparencies and ancillary products for educational and supplemental textbooks, has been awarded a prestigious Best of Category – "Benny" in the Premier Print Awards competition, sponsored by Printing Industries of America, Inc. The company received the award for a Hexachrome“ poster series.
"This poster is the end product of all the hard work put forth by our team both in color management and perfecting the Hexachrome printing process," said John Krupo, vice president of Visual Systems, Inc. "It’s great to see our efforts delivered award-winning results."
The company was also awarded "Certificates of Merit" for its self-promotional sell sheets and direct mail program. The sell sheets explain the different markets that Visual Systems serves, while the direct mail campaign focuses exclusively on the benefits of the company’s book components capabilities.
Competing against more than 4,800 entries from printing and graphic arts organizations worldwide, Visual Systems will be recognized for its accomplishments during the Premier Print Awards Gala on October 6, 2002 in Chicago.
The Premier Print Awards competition, sponsored by Printing Industries of America, Inc., is recognized as a prestigious awards program for members of the printing industry. In its 52nd year, the competition honors companies and individuals who exhibit excellence in print communications.
