Heidelberg USA Demo Rooms Recommended for ISO 9002 Registration

Press release from the issuing company

July 25, 2002, Kennesaw, GA -- Heidelberg USA announced that its four Technical Center Demonstration Rooms have been recommended for ISO 9002 registration by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). After audits by LRQA in May 2002, the quality system in the Technical Center Demonstration Rooms in Kennesaw, Georgia; Mt. Prospect, Illinois; Cranbury, New Jersey; and Rancho Dominguez, California has now been certified for equipment and software demonstrations on new prepress, press, and postpress products. ISO 9002 certification verifies that the quality system in Heidelberg's Technical Center Demonstration Rooms meets internationally agreed-upon standards for quality management systems. The resulting standardization helps to ensure consistent, high-quality product demonstrations throughout all of Heidelberg USA's Technical Center Demonstration Rooms as well as further illustrating Heidelberg's continuous commitment "to meet and exceed the customers' expectations." The addition of the Technical Center Demonstration Rooms now extends Heidelberg USA's ISO certification to include the sale of replacement parts, equipment servicing, Technical Center demonstrations, and the sale and installation of new prepress, printing and postpress equipment. In addition to the four Technical Center Demonstration Rooms, all 10 Heidelberg USA regional sales and service offices; the national warehouse and distribution center in Cranbury, New Jersey; and the corporate headquarters in Kennesaw, Georgia are ISO 9002 registered.
