Press release from the issuing company
Norwalk, Connecticut, USA -- July 26, 2002 -- Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) announced the availability of Kodak Polychrome Graphics Matchprint Color RIP v2.5 software for large-format inkjet printers. This new software offers several functional improvements over previous versions including Scitex CT/LW and JPEG file capability, new color space support for RGB and LAB files, and printer support for the HP DesignJet 10/20/50 PS series.
Matchprint Color RIP v2.5 is next generation software for the Matchprint Inkjet System, a high-quality, inkjet proofing solution that delivers accurate simulation of Matchprint Analog proofs, an industry standard for accurate color prediction.

"This latest version benefits our customers by providing them with superior color proofing capabilities, additional output options for posters and display materials, and increased productivity tools to save valuable time."
In addition to Scitex CT/LW and JPEG file capability and new color space support for RGB and LAB profiles, the Matchprint Color RIP v2.5 gets a Drag and Drop Interface and Selectable Job Priority function--two features that simplify and speed-up job workflow.
