swissQprint America officially opened its new headquarters in West Dundee, Illinois, on June 24. The company welcomed customers, partners and industry professionals for an Open House event at the newly completed building. The celebration coincided with the company’s 10th anniversary in the North American market.

The new facility reflects swissQprint’s ongoing expansion in the United States and Canada and is intended to strengthen customer support, technical service and training capabilities throughout the region.

“We were thrilled by the response to the event and excited to celebrate this milestone together with our customers, partners and team,” said Erik Norman, President of swissQprint America. “The energy reflected the strong relationships we’ve built over the past 10 years and the momentum we see in the North American market,” added Kilian Hintermann, CEO of swissQprint in Switzerland.

Focus on applications, workflow and profitability

A central attraction during the event was the company’s new 4,700-ft² showroom and hospitality area, where attendees explored the latest swissQprint flatbed and roll to roll printing systems as well as a broad range of application samples.

Throughout the day, swissQprint and its technology partners – Caldera, OneVision, and Color Logic – presented live demonstrations focused on workflow efficiency, automation and production optimization. Visitors gained insight into integrated workflows spanning file preparation through final output. Discussions highlighted practical strategies that enable print service providers to increase productivity, enter higher-value markets and unlock new revenue opportunities.

Print service providers learned how to combine high-volume production with high-value applications on a single platform without compromise. Visitors gained insight into strategies for increasing both productivity and profitability while expanding their application portfolio. The event also offered networking opportunities with members of the swissQprint team as well as fellow print professionals.

Contracts signed at open house

The celebration also delivered a tangible business result: four customers signed contracts during the event, underlining the trust swissQprint has earned among North American print service providers over the past decade.

Craig Faust, COO of Inpro, commented on the company's purchase of its third swissQprint system: "We place a great deal of trust in our swissQprint platform and have invested in Kudu to support our future growth plans.” Dan Thompson, CEO at Italic said: "Our Nyala 3 continues to deliver the print quality our clients expect. Adding the Kudu gives us the additional production capacity we need to achieve our growth goals." Print Panther also invested in their swissQprint system – an Oryx 5 – while Sign Ink expanded its fleet with a fourth swissQprint unit.

Built for the next phase of growth

The new headquarters was completed after approximately one year of construction and offers 24,780 ft² of total space — roughly 130% more than the company’s previous premises. Located in West Dundee, the site is also situated closer to Chicago O’Hare International Airport, making customer visits more convenient.

In addition to the showroom, the building features an expanded warehouse and a dedicated 2,153-ft² technical center used for machine servicing, refurbishment of pre-owned systems and hands-on technical support activities.

According to swissQprint America, the additional space and infrastructure are designed to support a steadily growing installed base throughout North America.
