Windows desktop application brings background removal, true-shape nesting, and automatic cut-line generation into a single workflow for small-batch, multi-SKU producers running desktop cutters.

Seoul, South Korea — Pressria, the print automation brand of PODSoft, has made Pressria Bridge available to the global market as of June 1, 2026. Pressria Bridge is a Windows desktop application that automates the prepress steps between a customer’s incoming artwork and a cut-ready Adobe Illustrator file. It is aimed at print and custom-goods producers that process high volumes of small, varied orders on desktop cutting hardware.

The application connects the repetitive stages of sticker and goods production into one automated flow. For sticker work, it watches a hotfolder for incoming images, removes backgrounds, generates kiss-cut and die-cut lines, arranges the pieces on the sheet, and synchronizes the result into Adobe Illustrator. For pre-cut artwork such as keyrings, where cut lines are already supplied as PDF files, it handles the nesting and Illustrator synchronization directly.

At the center of the platform is a true-shape nesting engine that arranges irregular pieces by their actual outlines rather than by their bounding boxes, with the aim of reducing material waste on each printed sheet.

Pressria Bridge generates cut lines on dedicated layers using recognized spot-color conventions for die-cut and kiss-cut contours, and produces sheet layouts with registration marks for print-and-cut workflows. Additional functions include a sticker-sheet mode with grid layouts and corner registration marks, rectangular sheet nesting, and a preprocessing step that separates grouped designs inside a customer’s Illustrator file into individual files.

The platform integrates with Adobe Illustrator through a real-time connection, writing its output directly into layered Illustrator documents. The application is code-signed and available in Korean, English, and Japanese, with demonstration videos and documentation in all three languages.

“Smaller producers have had to choose between large enterprise systems and single-purpose utilities, with manual work filling the gaps in between,” said JungHoon Yoon, founder and developer of PODSoft. “Pressria Bridge is meant to connect those steps into one workflow that a one- to five-person shop can run.”

Pressria Bridge is available now as a subscription at USD 79 per month or USD 790 per year. Product details and a trial are available at pb.pressria.com.
