MCS, Inc. announced today the launch date of its new Harrier process color inkjet family of industrial inkjet products with HP's Smart Servicing technology!
Gaithersburg, Maryland—MCS, a leading industrial print solutions provider of Kyocera, Fuji, and HP inkjet technology, announced this week the release of a new family of thermal inkjet products based on HP's latest 108mm print head technology.
The entire family, known as the MCS Harrier, will include 4 ¼, 8 ½, and 12 ¾ process color print heads. The industry-leading MCS Raptor software is compatible with the new Harrier and can drive the new Harrier along with the entire family of MCS inkjets, including the Falcon, Osprey, and Eagle simultaneously. One Raptor PC will be able to drive up to 51 inches of process color on several industrial solutions, including mailing tables, inserters, and flexo, half, and full-web presses.
Since 1997, MCS has offered a growing number of solutions to the graphic arts and mailing industries, utilizing several drop-on-demand print technologies. The top requirements for adapting process color industrial technology into industrial printing include:
- Low capital cost
- Easy print head servicing
- High-quality print quality
- Large print width
- Low head maintenance
- Low ink cost
- Ink options (customized inks)
The MCS Harrier with HP Micro-Recirculation Technology is the perfect solution for process color imaging, meeting many, if not all, of these requirements. “In my 30 years in the industrial imaging industry, I have never seen a technology with so much value”, commented MCS president, David Loos. The Harrier will have a limited release in the 4th quarter of 2025 and a full release in the 1st quarter of 2026. MCS will be demonstrating the Harrier at Print United, October 22–24, in Orlando, Florida, at the MCS booth (3294) and the Add-Jet Booth (4690).
