So good to see this video clip Frank - Keep doing the great work, I just love the nostalgia! takes me back a bit....
My Great Grandad, Grandad & My Dad used letter presses and so I used them in my early days. I grew up watching a huge Lino Machine and a man sitting with a monocle in a chair in the middle of the machine - I was always amazed - to me at such a young age he looked like an alien from outer space!
We used to have several Heidelbergs - letterpress work horses.
Now We are onto the Digital age - all changed completely and I often close my eyes and wonder if my Late Great Grandad was watching how we do things these days and what he would say - probably "You've got it easy thesedays, we had to work ten times harder!" PAAAAAAH!!!!
