Extremely interesting. There is the transition from offset to digital and now, as Aurelio says almost explicitly, there is or will be a transition from digital toner to digital inkjet.

I think this latest transition will be accelerated by even another ongoing transition. That would be the evolution from bilevel to multiple graylevel inkjet printing. I believe so because of inherently higher image quality.
