Randy Davidson: Hi, I'm Randy Davidson, CEO of What They Think. We’re in Chicago at the University Club at our annual Print CEO Forum event.
Joe Morgan: I think the interaction amongst all the CEOs has been fantastic. We’re talking about the pertinent issues that are affecting all of us today. I think that the key now is for people to link all these items that we’ve been speaking about in the forum in their own business, so that we can really take advantage of the changes around us.
Randy Davidson: We’ve got content that is packed and exclusive for printing CEOs and leaders in the industry.
Lisa Arsenault: I think it’s not necessarily a shortcut to the changes, but people here have made some of those changes already, so it’s nice to hear from them what worked and what didn’t and so you get to find out what you need to do.
Randy Davidson: We’ve got great speakers, Dr. Joe Webb, Frank Romano, David Swang and even industry executives like Joe Morgan CEO of Standard Register and Wendy Cebula president of Vista Print.
Morris Shaw: Overall they are very knowledgeable. Lots of good approach. The only thing is how we’re going implement it to our business. This is something we have to weigh on, which one is more important than the other one and which way is easier for us to implement. Lots of things to think about.
Randy Davidson: We also handed out our Print CEO of the Year Award. Among the five excellent finalists the winner this year was Joe Davis, CEO of Consolidate Graphics. This award is very unique because it was voted on by industry CEOs and executives, so it’s really an award selected by industry peers and not an exclusive elite committee, so we’re very proud of Mr. Davis and the other finalists as well.
I think the people that have been nominated for the award and the finalists are outstanding leaders in our industry and my company and the industry at large has benefited from the things that those leaders have brought.
