Interloop Develops Innovative Use for Banana Plantation Waste
Interloop is one of the largest textile companies in Pakistan with more than 35,000 employees. The company recently launched an innovative project, LoomShake, wherein banana plantation waste is collected (instead of being burned) and converted to fibers that can be used in a cotton blend, reducing cotton usage, and the water cotton requires, by 20%.
