Senior Editor Cary Sherburne reviews drupa 2016 with InfoTrends Group Director Jim Hamilton, who feels like a kid in a candy story at this broadest-ever drupa. Hamilton calls it the Inkjet drupa 4.0, signifying the maturity of inkjet technologies. He also emphasizes the broad array of digital embellishment technologies.

Maybe the next drupa will be inkjet 4.0, but 2016 is only inkjet drupa 3.0 by my count (2008-2012-2016). Also, so glad that drupa is back to a four-year cycle. That was the right decision. Looking forward to drupa 2020!

Cary & Jim, you always deliver. GREAT interview. I especially like the '12 vs. '16 trends that you identify; the "sales are brisk," industry leader bellwether possibilities; the collaboration with strategic supply chain / oem partners. Couldn't be with you #drupa2016, so THANK YOU for delivering the timely news and excellent takeaways. -Ron & GPA
