INTAGLIO Corporation Makes Inc. Magazine Inner City 100 List

Press release from the issuing company

Listing Recognizes Fast Growing Companies in America's Inner Cities LOS ANGELES- April 26, 2002--INTAGLIO Corporation, one of L.A.'s leading commercial printing and design companies, has been ranked 71st on Inc. Magazine's "Inner City 100" list. INTAGLIO, which was also ranked the 20th fastest-growing printer in the U.S. last year by American Printer, competed among thousands of companies nationwide for the prestigious award. The Inner City 100 list is a joint project of the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) and Inc. magazine, and is a unique national listing of fast-growing companies located exclusively in America's inner cities. The ICIC and Inc. magazine partnership ensures that the growing dynamism of inner-city economies -- and the companies making it happen -- is showcased for an audience of entrepreneurs, corporate decision-makers, capital providers, government officials, and academia. "The growth and success of INTAGLIO is due to the quality of products and services we provide, which results in satisfied customers time and again," said Marina Poropat, chief executive officer of INTAGLIO. "This acknowledgement by Inc. magazine and ICIC is particularly meaningful, since I believe in the growth and revitalization of downtown Los Angeles," continued Poropat. Poropat, who purchased the business in 1991, was able to successfully turn it into a graphics powerhouse, with revenues doubling in its first year, and quadrupling in its first three years. The ranking was announced at the "Inner City 100" awards gala in Boston Wednesday April 24, and was attended by national business, government and community leaders, and entrepreneurs. The celebration of inner-city entrepreneurship and leadership focuses national attention on the fact that some of the most attractive opportunities for business growth exist in America's inner cities, where often they are least expected. About INTAGLIO Los Angeles-based INTAGLIO was founded in 1991, with a vision of one-stop-shopping for all graphic services. INTAGLIO's focus on project management from inception to completion makes it Southern California's leading commercial graphics company.
