LCP Invests in New Konica Minolta UV Inkjet Digital Press

Press release from the issuing company

LCP is pleased to announce they have expanded their digital pressroom with the addition of the AccurioJet KM-1 4-color UV inkjet press manufactured by Konica Minolta. The press is ideal for a wide range of applications, including digital printing, print-on-demand requirements, and variable data projects.

This state-of-the-art, high tech press meets all of LCP’s rigorous quality requirements and has output comparable to offset. It prints on sheets up to 23” x 29.5” giving designers more format options on both coated and uncoated papers in a wide range of thicknesses. The proprietary technology developed by Konica Minolta ensures registration accuracy with 1200 x 1200 dpi print resolution.

Tom Johnson, LCP’s President, said, “We chose the AccurioJet KM-1 because our clients are looking for better options for digital printing. This press delivers, with its ability to print a larger sheet and phenomenal color that is consistent from sheet to sheet and job to job. With durable UV inks, it is the perfect press for variable data mailing projects, print-on-demand booklets, and more. In 2020, LCP celebrates our 50th anniversary, and we believe this press will provide clients with new options as we head into a new decade.”
