Startup to Nationwide: Mailpix Reaches More Retail Consumers than Any Other Photo Site

Press release from the issuing company

Huntington Beach, Calif. – MailPix, the photo-printing, canvas and gifting site, enters its eighth year in business with the broadest retail reach of any mobile photo printing app. Through its award-winning 1 Hour Photo app, MailPix is the only company working with all five of the largest U.S retailers with photo services - CVS, Walmart, Walgreen’s, Duane Reade and Target stores - for the ultimate convenience. Consumers can choose to pick up their pictures at 21,000 locations across the United States.

“Since our launch in 2012, MailPix has always been focused on ease, on convenience and on value,” says Fred H. Lerner, CEO and founder, MailPix. “We started with a simple website and have grown to include several mobile apps. Through careful curation of customer feedback, we’ve learned how to build a loyal clientele.”

MailPix offers an amazing array of photo products that have garnered national media attention. In the 2019 holiday season, MailPix products were featured on “The Today Show” and was recognized as a New Mobile Business Innovator in the Best of 2019 Mobile Star Awards™.

In addition to its flagship MailPix site, the company has added five brands since 2014: 1 Hour Photo, MyPix2, RitzPix, Winkflash and Photobucket’s Print Shop Lab. The company’s management is continually evaluating acquisition opportunities to expand its portfolio.

“The recent investments by private equity in leading photo companies validates what we at MailPix have always believed: The photo industry is a great business!” says Lerner. “Constant innovation and creative marketing are the keys to growth.”
