Dalim Launches Two Powerful Browser Based Remote Proofing

Press release from the issuing company

Birmingham, UK - DALiM Software GmbH today launches two new web browser-based options for TWiST, its award-winning intelligent automated workflow and the industry's most powerful, open and productive digital front end. TWiST DiALOGUE and TWiST WEBLiNK extend the flexibility of TWiST still further by enabling fast and efficient remote soft proofing and management capabilities. These new options maintain TWiST and its users at the forefront of graphics production by enabling powerful web-based collaborative workflows. TWiST DiALOGUE: High resolution file viewing, annotation and validation via the internet TWiST DiALOGUE is an optional module for TWiST that provides customers with an on-line facility allowing remote and collaborative viewing and soft proofing of high-resolution files via the Internet. DiALOGUE incorporates many useful features designed to further maximize the flexibility and efficiency of fully-digital TWiST production workflows. Because DiALOGUE has the ability to stream data to the browser, users can view the file in high resolution to approve single and imposed pages from any location in real time. TWiST users can give their customers the ability to view, zoom in/out, navigate (via a "Navigator" palette), place annotations (virtual "Post-it?" notes), draw to highlight areas, take densitometer readings, check production parameters, (page size, resolution, etc.) and, even 'chat' in real time. Furthermore, it is possible for participants to validate files online, triggering an automatic TWiST workflow operation (FTP transfer to print site, send to RIP queue, etc.).
