Skyline Exhibits Select the High-Speed Panthera S4-3.2m Dye Sublimation Printer to Increase Production

Press release from the issuing company

Sussex, Wis. – The Mosaica Group, a national distributor supporting dye sublimation and wide format print processes with equipment, consumables and services, announced a partnership with Skyline Exhibits, North America's leading brand of exhibit systems. The partnership enables Skyline to significantly increase their production by installing a high-speed Panthera S4-3.2m dye sublimation printing system, exclusively distributed by The Mosaica Group, in one of their state-of-the-art Design Centers, located in Eagan, Minnesota.

The addition of the Panthera will boost Skyline’s dye sublimation production capabilities and assist in streamlining operations. With a printing width of 3.2 meters, the Panthera will be used to produce larger soft signage and trade show pieces, as well as backlit displays.

“We selected the Panthera not just because of speed, but due to the advantage of each ink formula designed specifically for Kyocera print heads to achieve optimal results in regards to speed and quality. Another benefit that will increase our productivity is utilizing the Panthera’s Intelligent Camera System (ICS),” said Tim Brengman, Vice President of Operations, Skyline Exhibits. This high-definition technology enables remote printing and monitoring with any mobile device.

The Panthera S4 is available in both 1.8m and 3.2m widths in 2-ink configurations ? 2 x CMYK and its new SWISSJet® D&T-K 8-color ink set photo quality configuration, which enables brighter colors, richer and deeper blacks, along with sharper images and crisper highlights.

Due to the Panthera’s remarkable speed, simplicity of use and low maintenance, Skyline can help customers and brands reach their exhibition and signage goals by completing projects 5 to 6 times faster than their other dye sublimation solutions at speeds up to 4,000 square feet per hour.

Skyline is also obtaining their transfer paper and dye sublimation ink through The Mosaica Group. Their portfolio includes SupremeJETTM transfer paper and SWISSJet® inks. “Moving forward, The Mosaica Group will help us streamline our procurement process in that we can obtain everything we need from them for dye sublimation and even in wide format. From heat presses to additional printers, ink, tissue and paper, they are a complete solutions package provider,” said Tim Brengman.
