XMPie Customers Honored with Gold Ink Award

Press release from the issuing company

(October 08, 2008) XMPie, Inc. and customers Trekk Cross Media and Magjak Printing Company were awarded a bronze 2008 Gold Ink Award in the Direct Mail Packages Variable Data category. The Gold Ink Awards recognize excellence in digital printing for the graphic arts and commercial print environments.

The 2008 calendar created for XMPie customers was designed by Trekk Cross Media and printed by Magjak. It features colorful imagery incorporating multiple points of personalization, including the recipient’s first name, last name, initials, company name and town.  The calendar also includes the dates of high-profile industry events, in addition to helpful hints on how the recipient can further grow their business with XMPie solutions. This highly-tailored, visually-appealing piece illustrates how XMPie users can effectively create marketing campaigns that hold an audience’s attention, increase loyalty and strengthen customer relationships.

“Earning a Gold Ink Award with our customers is a feather in our cap and demonstrates how XMPie’s variable data and cross-media offerings drive impactful marketing communications, greatly improve the relevancy of marketing messages and help marketers experience increased returns on investment,” said Karin Stroh, vice president of marketing, XMPie, Inc.

For more than 20 years, the Gold Ink Awards, sponsored by Printing Impressions and Publishing Executive magazines, attract superior work from printing professionals and graphic artists.

The awards will be presented at Graph Expo, North America’s largest annual printing event, held Oct. 26-29 in Chicago.  The winning application will be on display in XMPie booth #4851.  Visitors to the booth will also see other XMPie software tools in action, as well as the XMPie Experience Theatre, where attendees truly become part of the show.
