MIS Provider Offers Free Printed Workbooks to Help Printers with their MIS Implementation Projects

Press release from the issuing company

MIS provider Tharstern have launched a new printed workbook for printing companies about to embark on an MIS project, and they’re posting it out for free in a bid to help the industry deliver effective MIS implementations. A PDF eBook version is also available for immediate download.

The workbook is a result of several months of research, which involved interviews with Tharstern project experts and also with Tharstern customers who recently completed their own MIS implementations.

Rowan Smart, Head of Projects at Tharstern, said: “We think the advice we’ve collected from our own customers will be hugely beneficial – people can get the heads up on what not to do, and steal some brilliant ideas too.”

The first half of the workbook describes the 9 steps of an implementation project and what a printing company needs to do to prepare for each one. The second part is a collection of advice and guidance on how to stay motivated, organize your time and get the whole company on board with the project.

The workbook also contains exercises to carry out as part of the preparation process, such as The Wheel of Implementation and a test to check how well a project team will work together.

The guidance and exercises were created to be non-specific to the Tharstern MIS so it can be used by any print company embarking on a new project, whoever their MIS supplier is.

“We’ve created the book so people can take it into their project meetings, make notes in it, write their to-do lists, and also have the guidance to refer back to at any point throughout their project,” added Rowan Smart. “It’s gone down really well with our own customers and that’s why we wanted to share it with everyone else – whoever their MIS partner is.”

You can download the eBook, or the print-ready artwork, and request up to 3 printed workbooks at https://www.tharstern.com/imp-workbook
