HiFlow Solutions Unveiled Unique Automated Label and Packaging Management System at Printing United

Press release from the issuing company

Miami, Fla. – HiFlow Solutions, a leading global MIS and MES developer, is introducing to the North American market its state-of-the-art, flexible, MIS and MES software systems specifically designed for label and packaging printers. The company unveiled its solutions at Printing United, in booth 2728.

“At HiFlow, we give label and packaging printers the flexibility they need to maximize the benefits of a fully integrated workflow, and we do so with solutions that are developed with state-of-the-art Microsoft technology,” said Jack J. Lafler, Vice President of Technical Services of HiFlow Solutions. “No other software company offers the range of integrations we do for label and packaging producers.”

HiFlow MIS system was born on the packaging and printing shop floor and reflects the unique needs of these production environments. The system, which integrates easily with ERP software, gathers real-time data from the shop floor, equipment, personnel and other processes, and enables shop owners and producers to make informed decisions about their business.

The system features standard components such as automated production planning (scheduling), in-demand “Track and Trace” functionality, and seamless ERP integration in its base package. Users can choose only the solutions they need from HiFlow’s scalable and modular range of products to complete their ERP system.

“Our research shows that the label and packaging market is growing at a healthy rate in North America. But we also see an abundance of older management systems that need to be updated if printers are to compete effectively in this exploding segment,” said Troy Miller, Vice President of Sales.

Another benefit of a HiFlow MIS system is the ability to connect with supply chain stakeholders as well as customers and their partners. “Industry 4.0 is already here, and HiFlow enables the Smart Factory concept that will thrive in this new era. In Europe, our customers are already taking advantage of the benefits that come from having integrated systems that connect all areas of their production facilities,” said Miller.

Almost 100 labels and packaging printers use HiFlow technology. Customers reported improved customer service, shorter order processing times, improved quality and a measurable overall increase in productivity.
