Sabur Digital – Bring Local Printers Together for Help for Heroes

Press release from the issuing company

In 2012 Sabur were approached by a local family “The Thorntons” to ask for help with a fundraising appeal to show support for their chosen charity Help for Heroes in memory of their son Private Matthew Thornton, who tragically lost his life in combat in November 2011. Sabur had no hesitation in offering their support in their quest to raise funds towards the family’s target of £100,000.

Fast - Forward to 2019 Sabur approached local businesses and local digital sign companies to work alongside them by both sponsoring and wrapping the rear doors of the Sabur fleet of vans with a scene that encapsulates the experience for all that were involved in all major conflicts affecting the UK Armed Forces both past and present.

An eclectic mix of 5 local businesses including Accountants, Solicitors, Nut & Bolt specialists, Commercial vehicle sales and Wardrobe manufacturers sponsored a van each. The media was printed at Sabur HQ using Drytac Polar Premium Media each van was then individually wrapped by a team of experts from 5 local Sign and Digital print companies who each offered their services completely free of charge. Media and Inks suppliers also got involved by association with free issue inks and media.

Special thanks go out to all that got involved including Sabur Staff, Customers and Sponsors who helped raise over £2,500 towards the Help for Heroes Charity.
