There’s a New CFO Running Around, and He Means Business

Press release from the issuing company

Harrison, N.Y. – In May 2019 Case Paper welcomed new Chief Financial Officer, Brian Berger to the team. Brian takes the concept of multi-tasking seriously, as his responsibilities include financial reporting, credit and accounts receivable, accounts payable, HR and technology. Brian’s not the type to let grass grow under his feet!

Brian joins us with 17 years experience as CFO for another family business, California Closets, and over 10 years as a VP of Finance at Polygram/Universal Records. Based on past accomplishments of successfully development and implementation of accounting, purchasing and CRM systems, he has set a highly organized goal list, which includes developing shared services, creating more efficient forecasting and budgeting processes, establishing best practices, and increasing the company’s value at Case Paper. Music to our ears!

“We are honored to have Brian as a part of the Case Paper family,” shared Robin Schaffer, CEO of Case Paper. “His previous experience demonstrates an attitude which aligns perfectly with our company values. His leadership qualities and his technical skills make us confident that he will help Case Paper implement our plans for growth.”

When Brian’s not running around the office, you can literally find him running around, as he, along with his two grown sons, are dedicated marathoners and tennis players. Brian’s also a gifted gardener (his Dinner Plate Dahlias are to die for), and he also enjoys paddle boarding on Bantam Lake Connecticut with his wife, Layla, adorable Golden Doodle, Sophia, and two (even more adorable) grandchildren, Jace and Jordyn.
