DATAMATX Certified as a Veteran-Owned Small Business

Press release from the issuing company

Atlanta, Ga. – DATAMATX, a national outsourcing provider and leader in the distribution of critical business communications and payment services, today announced it has been certified as a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) by the Veterans Administration. The VOSB certification is awarded to companies that are majority owned and managed by a veteran who is directly involved in daily operations. Harry Stephens, CEO at DATAMATX served in the U.S. Army.

The Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999 was created to offer additional assistance to veterans who own businesses. VOSB-certified companies are given priority projects with the federal government and subcontracting opportunities. This certification also may allow businesses to gain certain advantages in competing for business with state and local businesses.

“All of us at DATAMATX are very excited to gain this certification,” said Stephens. “I am proud of my military history and grateful to have had the opportunity to serve our country along with the other brave men and women who make sacrifices for our freedom. This certification makes it possible for DATAMATX to join a sustainable global supply chain of diverse veteran-certified business owners that take this opportunity to expand their business within their communities.”
