Inkcups to Showcase Two Digital Printers at K 2019

Press release from the issuing company

Danvers, Mass. – Global printing industry leader Inkcups will demonstrate two of its leading digital printers at K 2019, the plastics and rubber industry’s premier trade fair. The event will be held at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre in Düsseldorf, Germany, October 16-23, 2019. Inkcups will be exhibiting at its distributor’s booth, DP Solutions, in Hall 4 and Booth A15.

The joint display will feature Inkcups’ flagship Helix® and X360 digital printers from the company’s digital cylinder product line, which boasts the industry’s premier uv printers on a price-to-performance basis. During the show, the two machines will produce high-quality, durable text and images onto plastic drinkware products, which will then be offered as printed samples to booth visitors.

The Helix® is a digital cylinder printer for straight-walled and tapered parts. Print 360-degree, seamless images in full CMYKWW+V on a variety of cylindrical items. The system uses smart software with automatic height adjustment and intelligent diameter measurement for greater accuracy and precision. This machine is commonly used to print high-quality, full-color logos and images onto products including tumblers, reusable drinkware, promotional products, and more.

The X360 is a high-speed rotary inkjet printer capable of printing CMYK plus two highly opaque UV LED-curable white inks, with an optional varnish for additional visual impact. This machine features specialized tooling for tilting conical parts to print 360 degrees. Ideal applications include metal and plastic sports bottles, candle holders, plastic drinkware, and industrial parts such as oil filters. The X360 was released to the European market in June 2019 following a successful year of operation at production facilities in the U.S.
